Shealee Mitchell, BSN RN, is the Nurse Manager in Federal Programs for ESC Region 11 in Fort Worth, Texas. Shealee has been a nurse for 13 years and has worked in education for five years as a Director of Nursing. She has worked in many areas of the medical field, including labor and delivery, women’s health, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and administration. She has successfully implemented a telemedicine program in her home county that serves all students, staff, and first responders. She has worked with districts all over the state in health services improvement initiatives. She is the founder of the Parker County School Nurses Learning Network. Shealee is certified in Trauma Nursing, Emergency Nursing for Pediatrics, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support. She currently attends graduate school at Texas A&M School of Law, focusing on healthcare law, policy, and management.
